Lange steht es schon, das Hotel Daniel im Zentrum von Graz mitten am Hauptbahnhof. Fast könnte man schon sagen, es ist zum Wahrzeichen geworden. So wie es hier am Europaplatz thront und das pulsierende Leben andauernd im Blick hat.

Dass das Hotel Daniel ganz in der Nähe des Grazer Hauptbahnhofs liegt, hat den Vorteil, dass das Leben direkt vor der Türe auf einen wartet. Und dass man das Hotel so leicht erreicht, wie sonst keines. Es ist quasi bestens angebunden an den Rest der Welt und natürlich auch an die Altstadt von Graz. Die erreicht man nämlich sofort mit der Straßenbahn, oder mit unseren Leihfahrrädern oder E-Vespas – aber dazu kommen wir später noch. Das erste Zimmer war gar nicht gereinigt. Es lag eine Scheibe Brot auf dem Boden. Das Ersatzzimmer war mangelhaft gereinigt.
