The impressive ducal palace boasts baroque splendor, 17,222 sq. ft. (1600 m2) grand stucco and 32 fireplaces lavishly decorated with rosettes, cornices and figures. All 37 rooms are equipped with WIFI, and you can park your car in the hotel car park.

The Standard rooms are situated in the annex building (next to the castle). The Privilege- and Superior rooms are situated in the castle. The Privilege-rooms are very comfortable and spacious rooms with unique stucco ceiling. In the castle is the Vault Restaurant Wallenstein `s.

  • Das Personal ist - trotz des offensichtlichen Personalmangels - bemüht und sehr hilfsbereit.
    Der Parkplatz ist nah am Hotel und kostenfrei nutzbar, Haustiere sind willkommen.
    Trotz der historischen und daher nicht schallisolierten Zimmertüren ist es im Haus sehr ruhig, die Betten sind von guter Qualität
  • Am Eingang zum Schloss gibt es leider keine Rampe, Koffer müssen die (sicher denkmalgeschützte) Treppe nach oben geschleppt werden.
    Ein Schild am Empfang weist darauf hin, dass die Zimmer nicht gereinigt werden.
    Das Frühstück ist insgesamt o.k. könnte für ein Haus dieser Kategorie aber auch deutlich besser sein (so wird beispielsweise kein frisches Obst angeboten).
    Die Fenster(rahmen) sollten auf der Innenseite öfter mal gereinigt werden

  • Das Haus, das Personal, alles soweit o. k.
  • Das im 2. Stock gelegene Zimmer war wie oben beschrieben gut.
    Bei Regen sind laute Tropfen des Regenwassers auf die Dachpfannen sehr störend.
    Das schöne mit Stuckdecke versehende Zimmer hat mir gefehlt, war bei unserem ersten Besuch schöner.
    Geschlossenes Restaurant war auch nicht optimal. Die Verbindung zum Burgrestaurant war die einzige Möglichkeit in Neustadt-Glewe.
